Next Generations GrapeGod Description

Years before the Godbud phenomenon around the world, the locals on Vancouver Island B.C. have enjoyed these great genes that have been known by many different names. We started playing with these genetics 6 years ago and breed several varieties for our own collection which we shared with friends and never released publicly, until now. The first release of what we`ve been doing with this gene pool is an F3 of the Grapefruit and the Godbud parent. Each generation was carefully picked from a large selection of potential parents. We know you will enjoy.

Flowering Time: 50 days indoors
Outdoors: October 1 – 5

I picked up a couple of grams of GrapeGod earlier today for two reasons: Nostalgia (I remember enjoying her once before, years ago) and Bud Appearance (Deep Purple and Forest Green hues accented by a few golden hairs and LOADS of shiny trichomes dazzled me while the previous strains I was shown weren’t horrible, but not worth spending my last few dollars on. GrapeGod was a pricest flower option, but in that shop, she earned it. The wonderfully sticky buds took a little prying apart (prob. makes excellent hash!) in order to get in to the grinder where the aroma of grapes, berries, a bit of citrus and a touch of pine blesses the nose. These attributes also dominate the taste, though I personally found the taste of Grapes with a syrupy Sugar Substitute almost submits to the very prevalent Grapefruit flavored smoke. Speaking of which, the smoke enters very smoothly, but is false comfort as that Grapefruit taste tickles the back of my throat, provoking a small amount of coughing. It’s all good though, most everything is with this strain. GrapeGod produces a calming, relaxing state of being and mind which lasts throughout the post-session. A powerful, but nowhere near overwhelming euphoria smoothly transitions to a enjoyable, simple happy. Almost contradictory to always present state of calm is an invigorating, body buzz that soothes tension, tightness and inflammation throughout. When experienced via combustion through glass water pipe and diffusion, the smoking/medicating experience can be nearly divine. If you have the opportunity, enjoy!

          mawgwa – 11.09.2018

This was a good plant. It was quite slow in veg, and i would rate the yield on the high end of average, but the buds were greasy, sticky, very dense, quite potent, and had a very singular look unlike any buds ive grown. Everyone loved the buds and wanted more. Unfortunately i lost the strain due to a mixup it didnt get cloned before flowering. Another noteworthy observation was that in flower the stems got wire like and very strong so even with large dense heavy buds it could handle the weight easily . If your not in a hurry (slow veg) and you dont require a huge yield, you should be very happy with the unique buds this sweetheart puts out.

          Grape God Seeds

Grape God seeds are derived by crossing ‘GodBud’ and ‘Sweet Pink Grapefruit’ strains. The high that you get keeps you in a state of euphoria, uplifting your mood and relaxing you long after you’ve had a session. The judicious balance of THC and CBD equips the strain with positive recreational effects as well as medicinal benefits.

          More about Grape God Seeds

How to grow Grape God Seeds pot plants?

You’d have to spare very little and effort towards this strain so that it matures fully and yields a bumper crop. At the same time, you do not have to worry about its maintenance as well. All that you have to do is to make sure that the grow setting (regardless of whether it is indoors or outdoors) meets the criterions for enabling the plant to thrive.

          Indoor growing vs. outdoor growing

For every sq meter of grow room, you can expect to harvest more or less 18 ounces of buds after flowering reaches a peak at the end of 8-9 weeks.

Outdoors, the plants flourish best in regions that experience a warm and dry climate. The buds start appearing during the summer and the flowers are ready to be picked from late September to early October. Be prepared to collect buds weighing a total of 21 ounces from every plant.

Grape God plants are gormandizers implying that you should be ready to feed them with a heavy dose of organic nutrients, especially during the sapling and vegetative stages. Increase the amount of water and the frequency of watering when buds begin to bloom.

          Grow techniques

Grape God flourishes in greenhouses, nurseries, and hydroponic settings that take advantage of SCROG/SOG cultivation method.

Grape God | Marijuana Strain Review

Breeders always take a risk when they elect to add the word ‘grape’ to a strain. Immediately, experienced tokers have certain expectations regarding the scent, taste, appearance, and effects. If the strain doesn’t have a strong grape-like smell and taste, lacks noticeable purple streaks, and fails to have a potent effect, it is considered a failure.

This is what faced the Grape God strain. However, as you will see, it breezes through all examinations.

What Is the Grape God Strain?

Grape God strain weed is an indica-dominant hybrid and a cross of Grapefruit and God Bud. Sometimes, breeders are guilty of being lazy with strain names. In the case of Grape God, however, it is appropriate. It offers God Bud’s robust buds and purple coloring. Meanwhile, you can see Grapefruit genetics in the smell and taste areas.

This is no ordinary strain, as you would expect when one of its parents is a High Times Cannabis Cup winner (God Bud). Grape God is also a true ‘purple’ as it provides a heavy high due to its potency and effects.

A lot depends on how potent the cut is regarding your experience.

At the low end of the THC range, you might feel a soothing and refreshing high. At the top end, it is a more hard-hitting strain capable of sedating you. Consume large amounts, and you might find it hard to remain awake. Typically, it will take some time for the high to take effect.

The high will ease in and impact your head at first. Soon, it makes its way through the body, causing you to unwind and feel extremely relaxed. When used in moderate amounts, you’ll find that Grape God improves your mood and makes you feel happier. It is a good option if you are tired in the evening. Alternatively, you could try some before attending a social event.

As long as you don’t use too much, Grape God will keep you in a good mood for hours. On occasion, it may also improve your creativity.

The Grape God marijuana strain offers a sour grape scent combined with zesty citrus notes. The earthy smell you get is a reminder that beneath the fruity façade lies a powerful marijuana plant. This sweet and earthy combination envelops the user. It ensures that you crave Grape God from the moment you first smell it.

The strains you NEED to try…

Initially, a strong grape taste hits your palate. However, there are also notes of soil, hash, and citrus. The grapefruit and berry taste often make users feel invigorated.

Grape God has dark and dense nugs with a deep green shade and purple packed into the calyxes. Growers find that the buds are either short and round or long and narrow. Its orange pistils are noticeable during flowering.

          Grape God Strain Grow Info

When you purchase Grape God strain seeds, you’ll find that it is fairly easy to grow. It is generally a low-maintenance plant that thrives in a healthy environment with a conscientious grower. Make sure you provide it with plenty of nutrients because it is a hungry plant. If growing outdoors, it is best if your climate is warm and dry.

When grown outdoors, this strain is ready for harvest by the end of September or early October. It can yield up to 21 ounces per plant, although most growers report receiving much less. It is the same story when it is grown indoors. Its flowering time is 8-9 weeks, and it could yield a maximum of 18 ounces.

Grape God is a strain worth growing if you are a purp lover. It is extremely dense, purple, and dark, offers a sweet flavor, and is capable of knocking you out.

If you are hoping for a higher yield, you’ll need to feed Grape God regularly. One excellent tip is to add compost tea if you are using soil as the growing medium. The nutrients and microorganisms help improve the immune system of the plants. They also reduce the risk of diseases such as powdery mildew, which can hurt your yield.

Ideally, you’ll use compost tea that includes worm castings, bat guano, kelp, molasses, and fish hydrolysate. Whatever combination you add, make sure you allow the compost tea to brew for between 24 and 36 hours. If you go beyond 36 hours, there is a danger that the microorganisms will die. After brewing the tea, apply it to your crops at the earliest opportunity.

Incidentally, some growers say it doesn’t respond well to topping during the vegetative stage.

          THC Content – Highest Test

There is a major difference in the potential strength of Grape God. You can find versions with a THC content of 14-16%. However, some growers have tested their Grape God crop and found a THC content of up to 25%.

          CBD Content – Highest Test

Grape God’s CBD content is typically below 1%.

Medical Benefits of Grape God Marijuana

If you find a strong version, it can help you sleep, making it a viable option for insomniacs. Grape God could have a sedative effect on the muscles and joints. As such, it is suitable for patients suffering from chronic pain and muscle spasms.

Individuals suffering from chronic stress often use Grape God because of its ability to soothe and calm the nerves. It also seems like an obvious choice for people with depression or a social anxiety disorder.

Overall, Grape God is an excellent marijuana strain for use in the afternoon. Don’t use it if you have work-related tasks to complete because this strain can make it hard to focus. Aside from using flower, you also have the option of Grape God wax or shatter. There are even special vape pens with Grape God cannabis oil already inside.

          Here’s what made our list!…

Possible Side Effects of Grape God Weed

Certain cuts of Grape God are extremely potent. As a result, side effects such as dehydration, dry mouth, and itchy eyes are possible. If you overindulge, you might feel tired and dizzy, although it usually doesn’t affect users for long. Finally, there is a slight risk of feeling paranoid or anxious if you consume too much.

Final Thoughts on Grape God Cannabis

Grape God marijuana took off upon its initial release. It remains a favorite of growers who love purple genetics. It is not the best strain to grow if you want a massive yield, and it requires lots of feeding. However, it doesn’t provide much of a challenge for experienced growers and is a useful first-time crop for novices.

As for its effects, it is important to respect the potential potency of Grape God.

It is certainly a strain best suited to days off because of its sedative effects. It offers a wonderful aroma, followed by an exquisite taste, and aesthetically, it is a marvel. Make sure you don’t use too much of it in one session!
