Quality

I grew this plant outside at 50.5 north latitude in a greenhouse. It did well when shaded by other plants and tolerated the extreme heat of the summer as well as the cold damp nights of fall. It is squat in stature, but can still get to over 6 feet. Although they say that it should finish for northern growers, I would be realistic about that one. To finish properly, it needed to go right to the very end of October.
It is an easy plant to grow and less fussy than most.

It has a nice fruity aroma with a danker permeating base that really lingers. After a short cure, the smoke is very smooth but lacks any kind of a real flavour. It leaves a pine taste on the lips for a long time though.

My wife found the DMII-CBD that she bought at the government store to be very good for her migraines and could head them off before they got bad, but found that the smoke was very harsh and the buds were bone dry. As mentioned, this was not the case when you grow it organically yourself and dry/cure it properly.

When spider mites moved in to ruin the majority of the crop, I will not say it was immune, but it survived better than some and still managed to give us enough product for a long time.
I have kept a mother plant and because she stinks a bit, she is in the garage where it gets down to 4-6 C all the time. Only has one little cfl in an old computer case to live in and she’s happy as a clam.

So if someone is looking for a 1:1 THC/CBD plant with low->medium potency, that delivers what’s advertised and care more about effect than flavour, this one is worth a try in my opinion. (Posted on 11/28/2019)

Durga mata ii seeds

A stable strain that has been bred for its medicinal qualities, this strain has been developed with a higher CBD content for use by medical patients.

Mama Earth… In recent years we have invested in the research and development of new varieties that have medical cannabis qualities and Durga Mata ll CBD, which has been developed with the CBD crew, is one of these strains.

We decided to use Durga Mata because it is one of our feminized strains that already has a reputation for producing big resinous buds that throw a thick fluffy blanket of indica relaxation around those that smoke it. The original Durga Mata was already a top choice for medical users, so we decided to enhance its medicinal powers.

The Durga Mata ll CBD retains all the characteristics of the original. We appreciate that many medical patients are new to growing their own medicine and for this reason we chose to develop a strain that is solid and dependable, straight forward to grow and very forgiving for the novice grower.

The big difference between the original and the medical variety, is in the Cannabidiol (CBD) content. As medical users are aware, CBD does not have the psychoactive qualities of THC and actually moderates the effects of this compound. We have bred the DM-ll-CBD to be a clone that delivers a CBD content of 8.5% (THC is 7%) and is therefore better suited for medicinal use.

Durga Mata II CBD is a reliable plant to grow and, just like the original, performs well in indoor grow operations and particularly in a SOG set up (Sea Of Green). It develops a sturdy, flower clustered, main stem that oozes with resin by the end of the flowering period. The rock hard buds have a complex odour, perfume sweet, bringing to mind the exotic scent of Turkish delight. Plants are ripe within 56 to 58 days and give an impressive yield.

For the outside grower, this variety will perform very well too. It comes with pest resistance in its genes and will grow well in moderate climates and less sunnier regions of the world (such as northern Europe and Canada), as well as thriving in southern regions.

Durga Mata II delivers an end result that brings relaxation and calm to the body when smoked or vaporized, without the heady high or ‘stoned’ feeling. Research has shown medical cannabis to have anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, anti–nausea and anxiety reducing effects. DM-ll-CBD has many healing properties and brings effective natural pain relief to many medical cannabis patients.
