Next Generations Diablo Description

Beautiful purple outdoor strain, Selectively breed outdoors from Blueberry, Grapefruit, and South African sativa genetics. Finishes in the end of sept outdoors.
Grown throughout Vancouver Island with great results, likes to spread out in a good way. Nice blend of the spicy sativa and the fruity indica’s, you will enjoy.

Seedlings: 6-8 feet tall
Clones: 5-6 feet tall with more side branches
Indoors: 6-7 weeks
Outdoors: September 20-30 (BC)

Our Diablo strain was originally breed as an outdoor strain but has always been a great indoor plant as well. It has a sativa look and structure with nice dense buds. Very smooth flavour with spicy undertones.

The Grapefruit and Blueberry in its patentage bring alot of resin and sweet flavor to these buds. The earlier flowering Sativa genetics brings a great up high and more exotic taste.

It really stretches alot when put into flower and matures very quickly. There is a slight variation of finishing times by about a week, but all plants easily finish budding by end of september or 6 – 7 weeks indoors. Two different Pheno types are evident when you grow these seeds: one grows taller(5-8 feet) and finishes about sept25-30, the other is about 3-4 feet and finishes around sept.15. Both pheno`s taste the same and have great quality resin production.

When grown outdoors these plants benifit from being topped, they spread out fast and can turn into huge yielding mega moms. Known to yield well over a pound a plant when started early outdoors.

Diablo second place in the Outdoor catagory in the 2002 BC harvest cup right behind Texada Timewarp. This was the only time it has been entered in a competition and it placed very well.

Cosmos, 'Diablo'

(Cosmos sulphureus) A different species than the more common cosmos, Diablo showcases bright scarlet/orange, semi-double blooms atop graceful 4-5’ tall and 2-3′ wide plants. Easy to grow and will brighten any corner of your garden. Long-lasting and blooming cut/garden flowers bloom early summer through late fall. Drought tolerant and carefree, we keep returning to these as one of our first and favorite flower varieties. Striking vivid color. Native to Mexico and introduced to English horticulture in the 18th century.
