cannabis 2 week veg from seed

Question for the people who use the 2 week veg method

I know some of you like to do a 2 week veg then go right into flower from clone. For those of you who use this method can you please tell me what size pot you use for soil grows.

Can you use a 1 gallon pot from start to finish for a full 11 weeks ( 2 week veg and 9 week flower)? Seems like this would not be enough soil to me but I have not tried this method before. I know that 2 weeks vegging in 1 gallon wont create that many roots but can it handle another 9 weeks in flower? Seems like a stretch but what do I know. That’s why I’m asking.

What would the best method be for vegging 2 weeks in soil? These are all 9 week phenos. Mainly kushes and skunks. This is what I’ve found so far:

1) one gallon from start to finish
2) one gallon then transplant to 2 gallon when flower (seems like extra work)
3) one and a half gallons from start to finish
4) two gallons from start to finish

Would be helpful to see which one is best. Thanks

Edit: Also, what are the basic yields you get from a 2 week veg? Just an estimate

How long do you guys like to Veg your plants?

I know this is all a matter of personal opinion, but as I was reading through some of the journals I noticed a lot of people don't veg their plants very long(<50 days). I'm on my first grow, but I feel like bigger is always better, and want to leave her veggin for 60 days or probably more.

So how long do you guys usually like to veg?

Remember, she'll roughly double in size after you switch to 12/12.

In my experience, growing from seed follows roughly this pattern:

Week 1: Extremely slow development of first sets of leaves.

Week 2: Gradual acceleration of growth.

Week 3: Massive bushy explosion.

I grow plants fairly close together and don't have a huge amount of vertical space. I'd never do more than 3-4 weeks of veg.

Besides size, is there any downside to vegging longer? I am going through a bit of a process with my grow and my plants aren't exactly. up to snuff?

Basically I guess you would describe them as all being runts. I was sort of hoping that after I transplant them into a new home they could recover and grow if given the time. They are always under 24/7 light. So can I just veg my heart out?

Only a week of Veg? No problem. right?

The life of these plants was 2 weeks to clone and get roots and fill a beer cup, 2 week veg in #3 nursery pots, and flip. Last pic is first day week 3 flower.

works well for me, 25ish plants per 1k normally is how I do them this way.

30 a light. 7 day veg, or what I consider pre veg. 4 or 6 a light, 4 to 5 weeks veg. It is strain dependent also. 30 a light og kush in dtw rockwool I can get away with 2 to 5 days veg.

I have seen BlackBerry kush with no veg turn into 2 liter bottles on popsicle sticks. 18 to 24 inches tall.

Here’s a good visual for you.

Plants on left went into flower with zero veg. The dome was placed directly into 12/12 as soon as clones were taken. (Was sexing new seed moms) plants on left at 73 days almost ready to harvest. The plants on the right got 2 weeks of veg after roots showed. This was approx 3 weeks total from cutting. Plants on right are at day 28 and nearly double the size after stretch.

Both are clones of same plant.
